Tommy Hensby is a junior speedway rider based in Oakville, Canada. He started riding in August 2008 on a reduced scaled Honda powered bike built by the 'Grandfather' of Canadian Speedway, Mr. Stan Bradbury.

2009 sees Tommy on a 500cc Jawa bike which has been generously sponsored by Canada's Premier speedway supplier, GT Tuning Canada.

Tommy's ambition to become successful and follow in the footsteps of Kyle Legault has taken the first steps, in Tommy achieving support from the UK's Premier League Speedway team, the Sheffield Tigers, their team Captain Ricky Ashworth, their track shop and official photographer, JD's Track Shop and Chris Spires!

The transistion to the full-size Jawa bike in 2009, has seen Tommy's transition from a nervous young kid trying to force-slide a bike, to a very smooth young adult thinking with his head and using all advise well, to produce a young thrilling rider!

A young rider to watch emerging from the Canadian Speedwayworld, who has lots of ambition and energy!
